Majority of PUS participants who are new participants are dominated by family planning participants who use Non-Long Term Contraception Methods (Non MKJP) of 85.95% of all new family planning participants. While new participants who used the Long Term Contraception Method (MKJP) such as IUD, MOW, MOP and Implant were only 14.05%. Female Surgery Method (MOW) is known to be the most effective and efficient contraception for suppressing birth or ending pregnancy. The aim of the study was to determine the description of PUS parity, description of PUS knowledge and the relationship parity with PUS knowledge in the selection of MOW contraception in the work area of ??Batang IV Health Center. Descriptive correlative research design with cross sectional approach. Population 5305 PUS and sample of 99 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Statistical test using test spearmans rho. The results showed that 18 PUS in the multipara grande category had less knowledge (46.2%). There is a relationship between parity and knowledge in the selection of MOW contraception (p = 0.000). PUS that have met the requirements of using MOW contraception are expected to be able to increase their knowledge and consider using MOW contraception on the basis of parity, health workers, especially midwives, can approach counseling to PUS in order to further increase PUS awareness to use more effective contraception.
