This research investigates production optimization at Zahwa Putra Printing using the simplex method in
linear programming. The research objectives are to analyse the production optimisation carried out by the
company, to apply graphical methods in optimisation, and to identify factors that limit production optimisation.
The research focuses on the production of two types of products, namely books and calendars, considering the
constraints of working time and paper availability. The results show that the application of linear programming
can help maximize the company's profits. The invitation product contributes more profit at Rp1,500 per unit or
Rp150,000 per 100 units. The maximum profit of Rp4,200,000 per day was obtained through the analysis using
the simplex method. This research provides insight into the use of quantitative methods in optimal production
decision making and can be a reference for companies in optimising their production resources.
