Settlement of life insurance disputes often involves differences between the name listed on the insurance policy and the real name listed on the policy holder's National Identity Card (KTP). These discrepancies can cause problems in insurance claims, especially when heirs or beneficiaries attempt to access promised benefits. This research aims to examine various factors that influence these disputes, including legal aspects, dispute resolution procedures, and implications for insurance companies. By analyzing relevant cases and applicable regulations, this research provides recommendations for improving the administration system and protecting policyholder rights. It is hoped that these findings will help clarify the dispute resolution process and increase public trust in the insurance industry, The insurance dispute that will be discussed is insurance between NI NYOMAN SUKERTI and PT Sun Life Financial Indonesia, because the name registered on the insurance is different from the name registered on the KTP, which was submitted to the District Court by IDA BAGUS OKA SURYANTA, namely as the husband of the deceased. Ni Nyoman Sukerti, this case is taken from the Directory of Supreme Court Decisions Number 428 / Pdt.P / 2016 / PN Dps, this journal discusses the settlement of insurance claims between Ni Nyoman Sukerti and PT Sun Life Financial Indonesia.
