Abstract

Improving the quality of public services at the Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) for Health in Karanganyar is very important in order to increase public satisfaction in obtaining safe, quality health services, systems and at affordable prices. The initial goal of implementing the Healthcare BPJS was that the community could be served well at the puskesmas but there were still problems that needed to be addressed. The research objectives were 1) to find out and discuss the services of the Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) for Health in Karanganyar, 2) to collect information and to develop the concept of BPJS health services in Karanganyar.
The formulation of the problem from this study is to find out what facilities are provided by BPJS.
This writing method is a literature review with descriptive and exploratory approaches using secondary data analyzed ualitatively.
The results of the research can be concluded that: 1) Social Security Administering Bodies, hereinafter abbreviated as BPJS, are legal entities established to administer social security programs. The BPJS consists of BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. BPJS Kesehatan is a legal entity established to administer a health insurance program. 2) there are problems that must be addressed in the form of systems, procedures, human resources (medical personnel), and infrastructure and have not implemented the principle of responsiveness to community needs in order to improve the quality of public services in the health sector in Karanganyar, 3) health services have not met service standards good public, public access to the benefits of services is very limited, people have not been able to get services in all health facilities
