Abstract

PT. Laksana Bus Manufacturing is a company that focuses on making buses. Problems that occur at PT. As Bus Manufacturing has not implemented workload measurements for each position, there is a mismatch between the workload and the number of workers which results in work inefficiency as well as an increase in workload. Based on these problems, it is necessary to measure workload as a basis for calculating optimal workforce requirements. Workload analysis is very important to calculate exactly how many employees are needed to complete all tasks in a section or department in the company. In this research, identification of the description of each worker's work activities was carried out, analyzing the workload for each employee and the number of employees needed in the production department, namely by using the FTE method. FTE  is one of the methods used in the workload analysis process. From the results of calculations using the FTE method, the operator's workload can be determined as underload, fit or overload.
